Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The important indicator for new corona infections is almost stagnating in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported 77.7 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days on Friday morning.

On the previous day, this benchmark was just below 77.2.

The target of the federal and state governments is an incidence - as the value is also called - of a maximum of 50. From this value, the health authorities could better track the routes of infection.

According to the information, the Corona situation in North Rhine-Westphalia looked best in Münster (28.5) and in the Coesfeld district (35.4).

The numbers in Hagen (154.2) and in the Höxter district (118.4), which ranked at the top in a comparison of the municipalities, were more critical.

However, no district or urban district was above the very critical 200 mark.

However, the number of deaths related to the coronavirus is still high.

According to RKI figures, 127 new deaths were added within 24 hours.
