  According to reports, Samsung Electronics vice president Jiang Jingxun was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison, and Samsung Lions representative Yuan Qizan was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison with a probation of 2 years.

Samsung C&T representative Zheng Jinyong and Samsung Electronics vice president Park Rongji were sentenced to 1 year imprisonment and 2 years probation, and 10 months imprisonment and 2 years probation.

  In addition, former Samsung Electronics service chief Choi Ping-suk was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment, Samsung Electronics chief executive officer was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment, and former Samsung Electronics service representative Park Sang Fan was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months imprisonment.

  The Supreme Court also found that the former chairman of Samsung Electronics Council, Lee Sang-hoon, had conspired and participated in the dissolution of the labor union, but maintained his not guilty verdict on the grounds of illegal evidence collection.

  According to the report, the above-mentioned persons involved were suspected of establishing and implementing a union disintegration strategy called "greening operations" at the group level after the establishment of the union of the subsidiary Samsung Electronics Service Company in 2013.
