Fire in an apartment in South Korea: Chinese woman was seriously injured and her 4-year-old daughter died on the spot
Overseas Network, February 4, according to Yonhap News Agency, at about 2 pm local time on the 3rd, a fire broke out in an apartment in Gimhae City, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, causing one death and one serious injury.
The injured was a 30-year-old Chinese woman with serious injuries to her face and hands. She was sent to hospital for treatment and her 4-year-old daughter died on the spot.
The apartment has 12 floors. The fire was on the 6th floor. The police initially analyzed that the balcony was the first to catch fire. There was no suspicion of arson.
The fire also spread to the 7th and 8th floors. Fortunately, there were no casualties as more than 20 residents evaded quickly.
Currently, the police are investigating the specific cause of the accident.
