Gera (dpa / th) - The three Thuringian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHK) have presented a step-by-step plan for openings after the corona lockdown.

Politicians now only have to set criteria such as limit values and deadlines, explained the East Thuringian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Managing Director Peter Höhne.

Non-binding suggestions for easing state politics were not enough.

According to the proposals of the chambers, in a first stage with officially approved hygiene concepts, among other things, schools with alternating lessons up to the sixth grade as well as daycare centers with restricted regular operation and other educational institutions should be allowed to open.

Hotels, restaurants and hairdressers were also included.

In a second stage, the chambers propose, for example, the opening of theaters and cinemas with a limited number of spectators.

In a third stage, folk festivals and popular sports should be allowed and swimming pools and saunas should start operating again.
