Hanover (dpa / lni) - A stranger shot a 31-year-old in Hanover-Vahrenwald early Thursday morning.

The man came to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and had an emergency operation, the police said.

She is investigating attempted homicide and is looking for witnesses.

According to previous knowledge, the shot was fired at the 31-year-old at around 12:40 a.m.

He was hit in the upper body and fell to the ground.

Witnesses watched two alleged suspects escape on foot.

Shortly afterwards, a dark minivan passed the crime scene.

An immediately initiated search for the vehicle and the perpetrators was unsuccessful.
