A recurring phenomenon in winter but which always causes problems for motorists.

This Wednesday morning, the Nantes ring road is still partially flooded after the Gesvres came out of its bed.

Since that night, when the water level rose around 2 a.m., traffic has only been carried out on a lane near the Porte de la Beaujoire, in the outward direction.

As a result, this Wednesday morning at 9:30 am, nearly 10 km of traffic jams had formed on the eastern ring road due to a lane still neutralized.

"The decline is long overdue and could lead to maintaining the neutralization of the right lane in the outward direction at least for the day", specifies Bison Futé.

Further precipitation is expected: the Loire-Atlantique is placed on yellow vigilance "violent wind" and "floods" by Météo France.
