Last year, the competition was canceled twice.
So now it is set for the third time.
It is the Tiomilaföreningen, the organizer and the Swedish Orienteering Association that in consultation decided to cancel the competitions.
- The corona pandemic has affected and hit us hard and we see no opportunities to, based on prevailing circumstances, be able to invite to a Tiomila in Valdemarsvik 1-2 May. We deeply regret this in light of the fact that, as we have noted, many associations are looking forward to participating in this year's Tiomila in May in Valdemarsvik. It is also regrettable that all the time our non-profit forces have invested in the preparatory work, says this year's Secretary General Kjell Holmström in a press release.
