Melbourne (AP) - Angelique Kerber has successfully started the new tennis year.
The three-time Grand Slam tournament winner won her first-round match at the Grampians Trophy in Melbourne against the Czech Katerina Siniakova 6: 3, 4: 6, 6: 3 and made it into the round of 16 at the event endowed with 235,820 dollars .
