Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - Seniors over 80 years of age can again arrange a corona vaccination appointment in Hesse from today.
So far, vaccination has been carried out in the six regional vaccination centers in the country.
The remaining 22 vaccination centers in Hesse will open on February 9, so that all 28 vaccination centers in the state will then be activated.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, more than 190,000 people who are entitled to vaccinations have currently registered for the upcoming procedure for an appointment to be vaccinated against the coronavirus in Hesse.
When the population group over 80 was first registered for vaccination, only 60,000 appointments were initially available.
The allocation of vaccination appointments for those over 80 years of age was accompanied by massive technical disruptions via the Internet and the telephone hotline.
Due to the huge rush for the dates, there were very long waiting times until the end.
Now the appointment allocation should not be limited.
