Berlin (dpa / bb) - The police arrested a 21-year-old in Berlin-Marienfelde who is said to have shot a 29-year-old in November.
Police and prosecutors announced on Wednesday that the suspect is being investigated for attempted murder.
The man should be brought before a judge on Wednesday.
The background for the act is therefore family disputes, it said.
On the evening of November 27, a group of several men approached the 29-year-old in front of a shop in Berlin-Kreuzberg and shot him.
The person shot was injured so badly that he had to undergo emergency surgery.
