On January 7, the government decided that high schools will have the opportunity to conduct distance and distance education.

The reason is to avoid congestion both at school and in public transport.

- I think it works well and it's nice to be home.

You do not have to go to school and can sit at the desk directly, says ninth-grader Wilma Lindkvist.

Wilma has good space to study from home and she also thinks that there will be better study peace.

- There will be fewer distractions and easier to focus.

"Those who do not enjoy school can get a boost"

- Distance education works well, thinks Johan Ekmark, teacher and IT manager at Jättestensskolan in Gothenburg.

At Jättestensskolan, they take turns teaching, half drive from home and half on site.

To then change group the following week.

The students who need support are allowed to be in school, and the others alternate every two weeks.

- Distance education works well.

And there are students who do not thrive very well in school, and they may have received a boost from working from home, says Johan Ekmark, teacher and IT manager at the school.

But distance education also brings challenges.

- The practical-aesthetic subjects may run double planning, for example that some run sports on site and some at home.

And the examination becomes more difficult.

You will never forget that the best way to teach is to meet the students in the classroom.
