Berlin (AP) - The German double winner Alba Berlin has attuned to the German duel in the Euroleague with the twelfth victory in the 13th game of the basketball Bundesliga.

"Munich will of course be a completely different house number," said Albas Center Johannes Thiemann after the 86:75 success at BG Göttingen with regard to the game at Bayern Munich on Friday (8.30 p.m. / Magentasport).

Maodo Lo in particular was in the mood for a game in Lower Saxony before the game against his former club.

With his 23 points, some of which were decisive for the game, the point guard set a career best.

"He played a very good game," praised team-mate Thiemann.

Luke Sikma also shone with a double-double (15 points, 12 rebounds) and eight assists in Alba's offensive.

“We are very happy about the victory,” said Thiemann, “because Göttingen has not stopped fighting.

But we were very ripped off in the end ».

Alba and Bayern have already faced each other twice this season.

Alba won the last duel to date at the beginning of January - despite serious injury concerns and without coach Aito Garcia Reneses.

“So Munich will be hot for us,” says Thiemann, “just as we are for her”.

Thiemann sees the short break in the game marathon as an advantage.

After the last four games in seven days, the Berliners have two days off before the game in Munich and thus some time for preparation and, above all, regeneration.

"So we can play against Munich with reasonably fresh legs."
