Bremen (AP) - Werder Bremen is going to the DFB Cup round of 16 against the second division soccer team Greuther Fürth initially without Ömer Toprak.
The defense chief initially only sits on the bench in the Weser Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Toprak had to be substituted on Saturday in a 1-1 draw against FC Schalke 04 shortly before the end.
Niklas Moisander is joining the team for him.
Leonardo Bittencourt, also slightly battered, initially sits on the bench.
Milot Rashica, on the other hand, is in the starting eleven and storms alongside Josh Sargent.
