Following the decision to extend the state of emergency in 10 prefectures such as Tokyo and Osaka, the government will provide a lump sum payment to business partners of restaurants that have shortened business hours and businesses affected by refraining from going out. The amount will be increased from 400,000 yen to 600,000 yen for small and medium-sized enterprises, and from 200,000 yen to 300,000 yen for sole proprietors.

The government sells to businesses that have direct or indirect transactions with restaurants that have shortened their operations in areas where a state of emergency has been declared, and businesses that are directly affected by refraining from going out. We will provide a lump sum payment on the condition that the amount will decrease by 50% or more.

Following the decision to extend the state of emergency until the 7th of next month in 10 prefectures such as Tokyo and Osaka, the government has decided to raise the maximum amount of payment.

Specifically, the amount will be increased from 400,000 yen to 600,000 yen for small and medium-sized enterprises, and from 200,000 yen to 300,000 yen for sole proprietors.

The payment was provided on the condition that sales of last month or this month decreased by 50% or more, but we will add a new case where sales of next month decrease by 50% or more due to the extension of the state of emergency.

The government hopes to start accepting applications early next month.
