Kiel (dpa / lno) - SPD state parliamentary group leader Ralf Stegner has called for flexible and solution-oriented action to contain the corona pandemic.
“In the second quarter, the federal and state governments have the chance to do better than in the first,” said Stegner after the top-level discussion between the federal and state governments on vaccination on Monday evening.
Because the Schleswig-Holstein Jamaica coalition listened to constructive proposals from the opposition, the vaccination appointments were improved.
“The state government should do the same with the FFP2 masks.

The SPD failed last week in the state parliament with the demand to provide the Schleswig-Holsteiners with free FFP2 masks against the corona virus to wear on buses and trains as well as when shopping.
Stegner was satisfied with the results of the so-called vaccination summit.
"Provided the other vaccines receive the appropriate approval, enough vaccine could be available so that by the end of the second quarter almost 50 million people would be vaccinated," said Stegner.
However, the pharmaceutical industry must continue to be held responsible.
"If we really want to vaccinate over two million Schleswig-Holsteiners by the beginning of autumn, then we are faced with a mammoth task, against which the distribution of the previous vaccination doses was a minor problem."
