Braunschweig (AP) - The quarantine of the basketball lions Braunschweig has been lifted prematurely.

As the Bundesliga team announced on Tuesday, the Lower Saxony will resume training.

The entire team had previously been in domestic isolation for a week because athletic trainer Alvaro de Pedro had tested positive for the corona virus.

De Pedro had remained symptom-free and last tested negative twice.

The quarantine, which had actually been ordered by the health department for at least ten days, was therefore ended prematurely.

Next Sunday the Braunschweiger will play at home against ratiopharm Ulm.
