Berlin (dpa / bb) - On the occasion of a visit by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar to Berlin on Tuesday, representatives of the Free Kurdish Community of Berlin protested in front of the Ministry of Defense.
They held banners and posters with the words “Stop Erdogan's State Terror” and “Deal with Erdogan at the expense of human rights - not with us!”

The rally with around 60 participants was ended by the organizers after about an hour without incident, said a police spokeswoman.
With the protest, the Free Kurdish Community also wanted to draw attention to what it saw as acts of war by Turkey against the Kurdish population in northern Syria, southern Kurdistan and northern Iraq.
"We stand against Turkey's dirty wars and call on the federal government to cease all political and military support for Turkey," the organizers said.
