Kaiserslautern (dpa / lrs) - 1. FC Kaiserslautern has signed Felix Götze from Bundesliga club FC Augsburg.
As the third division team announced on Tuesday, the brother of world champion Mario Götze is coming to the Palatinate on loan until the end of the season.
Shortly before the end of the transfer, the Lauterer had also reached an agreement with the second division club FC St. Pauli on the loan of central defender Marvin Senger until the summer.
The 22-year-old Felix Götze moved from FC Bayern Munich II to Augsburg in the summer of 2018.
But he didn't make the breakthrough with the Bundesliga club.
«Felix Götze approached us with the request for a loan in order to gain match practice.
We complied with this request because we are convinced that this will be a very good constellation for everyone involved, ”said Augsburg managing director Stefan Reuter.
