Hanover (dpa) - Because they are said to have killed a 28-year-old from Bielefeld with more than 100 knife wounds, a 26-year-old woman and her 24-year-old friend are on trial in Hanover.

The public prosecutor's office accuses the couple of insidious murder for low motives, the body is said to have deposited and buried in a cemetery.

This afternoon (3 p.m.) the judgment will be announced at the Hanover Regional Court (Ref .: 96 KLs 18/20).

According to the prosecution, the woman met the victim on the Internet.

They met for the first time in early 2019.

After the 28-year-old ended the relationship after a short time, the woman reported him for rape.

However, the Bielefeld public prosecutor dropped the proceedings.

In April 2020, she is said to have lured the victim to Hanover together with her new boyfriend, the second defendant.

In their friend's apartment, the two are said to have overwhelmed him with pepper spray and then killed him with more than 100 knife wounds.

The victim died of blood loss after injuries to the heart and spleen.

Cemetery gardeners found the buried body in a cemetery near the crime scene.
