Rome (dpa / mv) - A fire has destroyed an open-air garage for a car, trailer and boat in Klein Niendorf near Rome (Ludwigslust-Parchim).
As a police spokesman said on Tuesday, after initial investigations, the fire broke out in a locked part of the large dugout after midnight.
After that, the car, boat and boat trailer caught fire.
About 30 comrades from the fire department from Rome not far from Parchim were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the house.
The damage has so far been estimated at around 50,000 euros.
Nobody got hurt.
The exact cause of the fire is still being determined.
