Borrell announced this on his Twitter.
“I had a good telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba and informed him about my upcoming visit to Russia,” Borrell said.
He noted that during the conversation Kulebe said about "the unchanging position of the EU in support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine."
Earlier, Borrell announced that he would visit Moscow in early February.
The EU said that he intends to discuss Ukraine and COVID-19 during a visit to Russia
