The Andalusian Government of the PP and Citizens has initiated the promised reorganization of the public sector and its
dense network of agencies
, public companies and all kinds of entities created by the previous PSOE governments.
The reform begins with the merger of four agencies into one, which will have a staff of
1,386 workers
, if there are no layoffs and all public employees now on the payroll of the public entities that are going to join continue in their positions.
Since this legislature began in January 2019, the Andalusian Government, chaired by Juanma Moreno, has committed to reordering the so-called 'parallel administration' that the previous PSOE governments created over 37 years in power in Andalusia.
The Executive has commissioned several audits to know the real situation of the
network of public companies
and agencies, but it has not been until now when it has decided to begin to dismantle it.

The IDEA Agency, one of the four that are going to merge, has

.
This entity is at the epicenter of several cases of corruption, such as the ERE, since the PSOE was used by previous governments as the 'paying box' for the irregular aid that came from the 'reptile fund'.
IDEA also appears in other corruption cases from the stage of the socialists that are being investigated in the courts, such as Invercaria or the 'Avales case'.
The
Andalucía Emprende Foundation
is the one with the largest staff of the four that are going to merge.
