When the region's vaccination team was at Slottparken's nursing home at the end of January, they received vaccine doses because several of the staff refused vaccination, and several elderly people were not healthy enough to get the syringe.

Instead of discarding the doses, they were given to the management of the home care administration, which was close at hand, as there were only a few minutes left before the vaccine would become inoperable, which Halllandsposten was the first to tell.

"Think it's unfair"

The incident has provoked strong reactions and strong criticism has been directed at the home care administration, but two assistant nurses that SVT Nyheter Halland has been in contact with think the criticism is unfair.

In the clip, assistant nurse Sandra Depta tells what she thinks of the new recommendations with a standby list.

- I think it is unfair that people react like that.

The situation is as it is, it is not simple and it is difficult to make a decision today, says Sandra Depta, assistant nurse at the accommodation.

In the clip above, the head of administration in local health care, Karin, tells more about the recommendation, and the assistant nurses about how they view having standby lists.
