The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of innocent people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation confirmed, in a statement, that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation of these criminal acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability, and inconsistent with religious and humanitarian values ​​and principles.

The Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and condolences to the families and families of the victims, as a result of this heinous crime, and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.

In addition, the Somali police spokesman, Sadiq Ali, said that nine people were killed in the attack by al-Shabaab militants, allied with the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.

A car bomb exploded yesterday evening, followed by shooting between the militants of the movement and the security forces, and the spokesman said that four of the dead were the attackers, while more than 10 civilians were wounded.
