China News Agency, Beijing, February 1st (Reporter Zhang Su) Former US Secretary of State Pompeo has found that China has committed "genocide" and "crimes against humanity" in Xinjiang.

At the press conference on Xinjiang-related issues in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held in Beijing on February 1, people from Xinjiang criticized Pompeo's Xinjiang-related lies either through video or in person.

The 91-year-old Qinahan Balati has five children and two daughters.

In the video, the grandmother was very angry when he heard the grandson say that a person named Pompeo said that China was carrying out "genocide" against ethnic minorities.

"My grandson and great-grandson total 40. (He) is really a big liar," she said.

Xu Guixiang, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China, quoted data at the press conference and pointed out that from 2010 to 2018, the permanent population of Xinjiang rose from 21,815,800 to 24,867,600, an increase of 3.0518 million.

Among them, the Uyghur population growth rate (25.04%) is not only higher than the Xinjiang population growth rate (13.99%), but also higher than the ethnic minority population growth rate (22.14%), and is significantly higher than the Han population growth rate (2%).

"Is this the result of'genocide'?" he asked rhetorically.

Regarding Pompeo's "forced labor", Ikebal Abulaiti, a 27-year-old guy from Aksu, Xinjiang who currently works in a feed factory, said bluntly "nonsense."

He came to the press conference to introduce his situation: from an ordinary employee to a small white-collar worker, he plans to buy a house in the city this year, and buy some gold and silver jewelry to propose to his girlfriend.

"We go to work to make money to make our lives better. No one forces us, and no one needs to force us." Ekbal Abu Laiti told reporters, "I want to ask you to bring Pompeo. Well, all of us in Xinjiang hate him. Please stop lying and deceiving people."

Analyzing Pompeo’s intention to stage the "doomsday madness" farce, Xu Guixiang believed that on the one hand, he did not want to see the good situation in Xinjiang and was unable to stop it, so he attacked hysterically and unscrupulously. The first-term government set obstacles and planted landmines on China's attitude.

He noticed that Western media such as the New York Times and Financial Times also made similar judgments.

"We believe that the international community can see through Pompeo's sinister intentions of "God Operation"," he said.

Xu Guixiang said that foreign people from all walks of life, including relevant officials of the new US government, are welcome to take a walk and take a look at Xinjiang to understand the real situation in Xinjiang, so as not to be blinded by Pompeo’s lies. "But we also have a principled bottom line, and we will never accept any so-called'investigation' based on the presumption of guilt." Xu Guixiang said that he has been in communication with the European side regarding the visit of the EU's envoy to China to Xinjiang, and has made thoughtful arrangements. With the utmost sincerity, I hope they can make the trip possible. (Finish)
