Ristomatti Hakola will not be present when the World Cross Country Skiing Cup continues next weekend in Ulricehamn, Sweden.
The competition program includes freestyle sprint and pair sprint, and eight skiers will leave Finland.
The women's team includes Anni Alakoski, Jasmi Joensuu, Anne Kyllönen and Katri Lylynperä.
The men's quartet consists of Juuso Haarala, Joni Mäki, Verneri Suhonen and Lauri Vuorinen.
Iivo Niskanen and Krista Pärmäkoski are also absent from the sprint mixes.
The combined team, meanwhile, will continue their World Cup in Klingenthal, Germany over the weekend.
Eero Hirvonen, who missed last weekend's competitions in Seefeld, is again in the Cup, and the other Finnish representatives in Klingenthal are Ilkka Herola and Arttu Mäkiaho, who had a great success in Seefeld.
Finland will not send a team at all to the cross-country skiing world cup weekend in the Czech Nove Mesto on 20-21.

According to the Ski Association's press release, the athletes will compete in the Pyhäjärvi Finnish Championships on the 12th and 14th, as appropriate for their own calendar.
