Merseburg (dpa / sa) - After a cellar fire in an apartment building in Merseburg (Saalekreis), two residents were taken to a hospital with suspected smoke gas poisoning.
The fire broke out in the afternoon in the area of an electrical device in the basement, as a police spokeswoman announced in Halle.
The house was evacuated.
The Firefighters put out the fire.
The residents were then able to return to their homes.
The power supply was still being worked on.
