Burma: Aung San Suu Kyi "arrested" by the army, according to the spokesperson for her party

The Burmese armed forces have arrested the de facto head of the Burmese government Aung San Suu Kyi, spokesman for the National League for Democracy (LND), Aung San Suu Kyi's party, said on Monday.

The military have been denouncing for several weeks irregularities during the legislative elections in November, won overwhelmingly by the NLD.
