SVT has previously reported on the investment in offshore wind power at Storgrundet and the criticism it has received from nearby residents.
The consultation process is over and WPD says that they have taken on board the criticism from both local residents and shipping and have therefore reduced the planned wind farm.
The project is at risk
A new application to the Land and Environment Court will soon be submitted, but fewer and lower plants will impair profitability and risk the entire project, the company tells SVT.
According to WPD, the plan is for the wind farm to be completed by 2030.
