The National Assembly begins Monday the first act of the examination of the bill "reinforcing the respect of the republican principles", which contains several measures to fight against radical Islamism.

For lawyer Thibault de Montbrial, the government "is playing very big" with this text.

INTERVIEW

The text should once again ignite the debates.

Monday, the National Assembly begins the first act of the examination of the bill "reinforcing the respect of the republican principles", and which intends in particular to fight against radical Islamism.

More severe supervision of home education, the offense of "separatism", repression of hatred online, reinforced control of associations, funding of worship ... several measures will be debated.

Invited Sunday from Europe 1, Thibault de Montbrial, lawyer at the Paris bar and president of the Center for reflection on internal security, believes for his part that the government "is playing very big" with this bill.
