Since mid-December last year, the Swedish Consumer Agency has received over 90 reports from people who have been cheated by the online store.

In a large proportion of cases, customers have ordered an item that they have paid for and then received a miniature variant of the product.

In other cases, customers have not even received any goods at all.

- You have seen examples of buying chainsaws and then a secateurs have come instead.

Or that someone has ordered a treadmill and instead received a skipping rope, says Hans Lundin, press officer at the Swedish Consumer Agency.

Want to warn others

Håkan Wasén in Linköping ordered an electric jack from the website.

Like everyone else affected, he found the online store via an ad on social media.

After a month, the product arrived - in a small envelope.

When he opened it, to his surprise, there was a miniature jack.

- It was made of plastic and weighed 32 grams.

I got a little angry but did not know if I would laugh or cry.

Håkan Wasén now wants to warn others and call for extra vigilance in e-commerce from unknown websites.

- They are smart, because by sending a product, it does not become a fraud but a dispute about the content of the product.

"Large amount"

The police are currently able to link 65 police reports of fraud with the company's operations.

A total of 98 cases of misleading marketing have been received by the Swedish Consumer Agency.

But according to Hans Lundin, the cases are difficult to investigate.

The website is now closed and there is no contact information.

Nor have the customers who have been affected managed to get in touch with the company.

Here are more examples of how the company was cheated.

The customer ordered a hand chainsaw, but got a secateurs.

About 50 customers give a consistent picture of the approach, where they have clicked on an ad on Instagram or Facebook and then shopped from the website.

- It seems to be consistent that you try to contact the company and it does not work, says Hans Lundin at the Swedish Consumer Agency.

I myself have not heard of anything similar before.

How likely is it that customers will get their money back?

- Normally, you should be able to turn to a company with a complaint.

But when there are no contact routes and their website is down, you become thoughtful.

SVT Nyheter has tried to get in touch with the company but has not succeeded.
