China enforced a law permitting the use of weapons by the Maritime Security Action on the 1st.

Since the ships of the China Coast Guard have repeatedly invaded the territory off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, there are opinions within the LDP calling for new legislation so that the Self-Defense Forces can respond.

China, under the authority of the China Coast Guard, which is responsible for maritime security, permits the use of weapons when foreign vessels do not comply with stop orders, etc., and enforces structures established by foreign organizations and individuals in the waters under its jurisdiction. The "Maritime Security Law", which stipulates that it can be demolished, will be enforced for one day.

Since the ships of the China Coast Guard repeatedly invade the territorial waters off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, it is dangerous for the Japan Coast Guard alone to respond to the China Coast Guard, which is allowed to use weapons within the LDP. There are concerns that it is highly sexual and has limitations.

For this reason, at the Liberal Democratic Party's Defense Subcommittee last week,

▽ the Self-Defense Forces cooperated with the Japan Coast Guard to guard the territorial waters under certain conditions, and

▽ the Self-Defense Forces in the so-called gray zone situation There were a number of opinions calling for new legislation to enable the SDF to respond promptly.

In the future, the Liberal Democratic Party will organize the issues and consider how to deal with them by inviting experts to interviews at defense-related meetings.
