Feldberg (dpa / lsw) - After an avalanche on the Feldberg, the Hochschwarzwald mountain rescue service looked for people buried on Sunday evening.
A mountain rescue spokesman said a woman had already crashed in a "very steep gully" between Seebuck summit and Feldsee or fell into a snow hole.
According to initial findings, your companion was unharmed.
Then the avalanche went off, making the rescue work more difficult.
The operation will probably drag on into the late evening hours, it said.
