Between cuts and delays in the delivery of doses, the second phase of the Italian vaccination plan, that is, the one that provides for the administration of the vaccine to the over 80s, has already suffered the consequences with some time delays.



The first region to leave will be Lazio, after a delay of seven days, followed by Veneto and Liguria.

Lombardy will start at the end of the month, while Trentino has already started for days.

Below is the calendar of the regions.


Valle d'Aosta

- The Region expects to start the administration from 8 February.


Piedmont

- The 'Vaccine day' for the over 80s, initially set for January 30th, has been postponed once to February 6th and, to date, to a later date.


Lombardy

- It starts on 25-26 March.


Trentino Alto Adige

- Second phase already started days ago, the administration of the boosters has already been reached.


Veneto

- On February 15th we will start with the over 80s and, from the 22nd, with the over 75s.


Friuli Venezia Giulia

- The start of the second phase is set for the second half of February.


Liguria

- As wished by the governor, Giovanni Toti, 15 February


Emilia Romagna

- There is no official date yet, but it will probably start in March.

The new vaccination plan will be presented on Friday.


Tuscany

- There is no official date yet.


Marche

- There is no official date yet.


Umbria

- Kicks off after 8 February.


Lazio

- From tomorrow, February 1st, reservations will be open.

The administration will begin on February 8th.


Abruzzo

- Reservations are open, but there is still no official date for the start of the administration.


Molise

- There is no official date yet


Campania

- Reservations are active.

It starts between 10 and 15 February.


Basilicata

- February 1 had been thought of, but the date was 'frozen' due to delays in deliveries.


Puglia

- We start next week.


Calabria

- There is no date yet.


Sicily

- The start of phase two has been postponed to the end of February.


Sardinia

- The start was scheduled for mid-February, but has been postponed by four weeks.

So, presumably, in mid-March.
