Kiel (dpa / lno) - The German handball master THW Kiel will have to play his first competitive game after the World Cup break without Sander Sagosen.
According to a report in the “Kieler Nachrichten” (Saturday), the Norwegian suffered a pelvic contusion with bleeding into the abdominal muscles in the quarter-final against Spain (26:31) and will probably be missing for seven to ten days.
The use of the 25-year-old in the Champions League home game against Motor Zaporozhye from Ukraine on Thursday (8.45 p.m. / DAZN) is therefore at great risk.
The Bundesliga game against SC DHfK Leipzig on February 7 (1.30 p.m. / Sky) could come too early.
