2020 was the eighth time the competition was held and a total of just over 2,000 associations from all over the country participated.
Three associations from Halland made it into the top ten list.
Second best ever
Glommens IF not only won this year's competition, but is also the association that has not collected the second most cans and bottles ever in the competition.
Only Mora IK has collected more: 204,450 jars and bottles in 2017.
- Then we invest in becoming the best next year, laughs Jonas Karlsson.
He adds that the club's strategy is mainly based on the cohesion of the community Glommen.
Many locals donate all their cans and bottles to the club.
In 2020, the association life in Halland collected almost three million cans and bottles in 2020, which provides a supplement of more than SEK 2.5 million to the participating associations.
