Yannick Jadot has in any case taken a step closer to a candidacy for the presidential election next year.
Guest of TF1, MEP EELV announced the launch next Wednesday of an ideas platform called "2022 ecology".
"
I'm preparing for it," he
confesses.
The French are plunged into anguish;
this is not the time for applications, but I want to participate so that we get out of this pandemic in a more just society, proud to roll up our sleeves, to stick together on this beautiful and great project that is political ecology.
"
Yannick Jadot's strategy does not consist in invoking only the militant environmental base, but all the French.
The MEP is not the only one of his political family to be in the
starting blocks
for 2022.
To decide between the aspiring candidates, EELV and several other small green parties have set a schedule with a primary scheduled for September.
Yannick Jadot should notably face the mayor of Grenoble Éric Piolle, very popular with activists.
