Bruchsal (dpa / lsw) - A 57-year-old was seriously injured in a car accident on Saturday afternoon.
A 30-year-old man drove his car head-on into the man's car near Bruchsal, the police said in the evening.
The 30-year-old's car had previously only entered the grass verge with the right wheels following the tracks.
Then the man counter-steered to the left and hit a 63-year-old against the truck, drove into the 57-year-old's car behind it and then thrown it sideways into another vehicle.
The passenger in this last vehicle was slightly injured;
According to the police, two people in the car that caused the accident were seriously injured.
The police asked witnesses for clues.
