Bad weather: orange alert on Campania, Basilicata, Calabria

30 January 2021 The Department of Civil Protection, in agreement with the regions involved - which are responsible for activating the civil protection systems in the areas concerned -, has issued a new warning of adverse weather conditions.

A deep area of ​​low pressure, in transit over our country, will in fact bring in the next few days "scattered to widespread rainfall, including storms, in particular on the central-southern peninsular regions, accompanied by a decisive reinforcement of ventilation from the western quadrants , especially on the Tyrrhenian sectors ". 

The weather phenomena, impacting on the various areas of the country, could determine hydrogeological and hydraulic criticalities which are reported, in a national summary, in the National Criticality and Alert Bulletin available on the website of the Civil Protection Department (www.protezionecivile.gov. it), together with the general rules of conduct to be followed in case of bad weather.
