Berlin (dpa / brb) - Two car chases took place in Berlin on Saturday night.

As a police spokesman said, a 33-year-old driver in Neukölln fled from the officers who wanted to stop him in Sonnenallee because of excessive speed.

He drove his car into a stopped police vehicle that blocked the road.

In Wedding, too, a man ignored the stop signals from the police.

When attempting to escape, the driver reportedly lost control of his car on the snow-smooth Transvaalstrasse and raced against several parked cars, among other things.

No one was injured in any of the accidents.

The 33-year-old and the two occupants of the second car were arrested.
