The women's downhill counting for the Alpine Skiing World Cup, scheduled for Saturday in Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany), is canceled due to the weather and replaced by a Super-G, organizers announced on Friday.
The skiers will therefore compete in two consecutive Super-Gs, since Sunday's is maintained.
A replacement descent is scheduled in Val di Fassa (Italy) on February 26.
The rain forced Thursday and Friday's practice to be canceled, and as a World Cup start can't be given without at least one practice, Saturday's race couldn't take place.
Departures of the two Super-Gs in Garmisch are scheduled for 11:00 local time (10:00 GMT) on Saturday and Sunday.
