The curfew had started a good two hours ago, but the urge to smoke must have been stronger.
Thursday evening, around 8 p.m., in the Arènes district in Toulouse, a young man in his twenties approached a group of men to ask them if they were selling cigarettes.
In response, he received two blows from the cutter on the head, explains a police source.
Supported by the Haute-Garonne fire department, the man was hospitalized without his vital prognosis being engaged.
The perpetrators of the beatings fled.
An investigation has been opened and entrusted to the departmental security of Haute-Garonne, says the police.
