Göttingen (dpa / lni) - The BG Göttingen won in the basketball league against Brose Bamberg and won the duel between the ex-coaches.

The team of the former Bamberg coach Roel Moors prevailed on Friday evening against the team of the former Göttingen coach Johan Roijakkers with 87:80 (36:43).

With the third win of the season, Lower Saxony climbed to 15th place for the time being.

Decisive for the success of the North Germans was Göttingen's US trio Deishuan Booker (20 points), Aubrey Dawkins (17) and Tai Odiase (15), who after a strong second half played a major role in the success.
