Frankfurt / Main (dpa) - Hermann Winkler has been appointed to succeed Erwin Bugár as Vice President of the German Football Association (DFB).
The association announced this decision by the Presidium on Friday.
Winkler was elected as the new provisional NOFV president a good week ago by the presidium of the Northeast German Football Association.
His predecessor Bugár, who was not only DFB vice-president but also president of the NOFV, died in early December.
The DFB Presidium has now followed an application from the NOFV.
