Dresden (dpa / sn) - Around 99 million euros in November aid have been paid out to companies and self-employed people in Saxony so far.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs announced on Friday in Dresden that around 5500 out of 15,000 applications had been fully settled.

Since January 12, the money has been paid out on behalf of the federal government, previously only discounts were possible.

Meanwhile, those affected by the corona lockdown must continue to wait for economic aid for December.

So far, the federal government has not set a date for the start of payments, the ministry informed.

So far, only discounts totaling 65.9 million euros have been transferred.
