Kiel (dpa / lno) - In Schleswig-Holstein, 291 new corona cases were registered within 24 hours.
A week earlier there had been 425 new infections.
The number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week fell further - to 84.0 (Thursday: 89.7).
This emerges from data that the Ministry of Health in Kiel published on Friday evening (data status: January 29, 8:09 p.m.).
The number of people who died with or from Corona rose by 19 as on the previous day - to 853.
According to the information, 485 corona patients are currently being treated in hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein.
84 receive intensive medical care, 52 with ventilation.
The number of those who have recovered is estimated at around 28,700.
So far there have been 35,703 proven corona infections in the state.
