A total of 9,914 cases transferred for review and prosecution were accepted by 16,488 persons, and 7,978 cases were prosecuted by 13,205 persons.

  The Supreme People’s Procuratorate held a press conference on the 27th to report the main status of handling criminal cases against production safety.

According to the report, crimes endangering production safety are accident crimes. The main reasons for the crimes were the indifferent safety awareness of the units or personnel involved, lack of professional qualifications, violation of safety operating procedures, confusion of internal supervision, and inadequate external supervision of relevant functional departments.
