Aachen (dpa / lnw) - On Thursday, the Aachen regional court sentenced a gang of car thieves specializing in luxury cars to prison terms.
According to a spokesman, the court also ordered the confiscation of more than two million euros.
The three men also specialized in stealing vintage cars and had stolen expensive cars on a large scale.
In the course of the proceedings, all three had made confessions.
In the mammoth trial, the men had to answer for serious gang theft.
The defendants were sentenced to six years and nine months' imprisonment, six years and four months, and an additional nine months.
The court assumed 83 thefts for one defendant and 76 cases for another.
There were also failed attempts to steal the cars.
The verdict was pronounced on the 41st day of the trial.
