An intense day that began this morning at the Quirinale with the consultations initiated by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella to resolve the government crisis that began with the resignation of Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. 

Mattarella after having received yesterday, the presidents of the Chamber and the Senate, today meets the delegations of the parties: 10.30 am: Parliamentary Group "For Autonomies (SVP-PATT, UV)" of the Senate of the Republic;

10.50 am: Mixed Parliamentary Group of the Senate of the Republic;

11.10: Members of the Mixed Group of the Senate of the Republic "+ Europe - Action" and of the Mixed Group of the Chamber of Deputies "Action- + Europe - Italian Radicals";

11.30 am: Mixed Parliamentary Group of the Chamber of Deputies;

11.50 am: Parliamentary Group "Europeisti- MAIE - Democratic Center" of the Senate of the Republic.

The first group, Autonomie del Senato Svp Patt and Uv, based on the official positions of the groups, should be led by Julia Unterberger, Albert Laniece, Gianclaudio Bressa;

Conte is waiting to understand what will be the attitude of the majority and of Italia Viva in the talks with the President of the Republic.

At 5 pm, therefore, the first interview with Elisabetta Casellati, which lasted half an hour and at the end of which the President of the Senate did not make any statements.

At 6 pm it was the turn of the Speaker of the House, Roberto Fico, who instead issued this very brief statement: "We are all working for the good of the country".
