Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The SPD and the Greens in the state parliament have accused the black and yellow state government of not having any concepts for the continued operation of the school in the corona pandemic.

There is no systematic preparation for operations after February 14, said the deputy SPD parliamentary group leader, Jochen Ott, on Thursday in a school debate in the state parliament.

"You have to rule now and provide security with changing models of how things can continue after February 14," demanded Ott.

The federal and state governments had decided on the corona lockdown with schools also closed until February 14th.

The Green school expert Sigrid Beer said: "We need reliability for this school year."

Nobody assumes that schools will be able to return to face-to-face classes after mid-February.

We do not know what precautions School Minister Yvonne Gebauer (FDP) is taking.

The first half of the school year, which is now ending, was already characterized by quarantine times and missed lessons for many students because of the corona pandemic.

The fact that the current distance teaching also has a different quality «is also part of the truth,» said Beer.
